Audio | Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers Single – Waiting On Love

Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers will release a new studio album, Loved Wild Lost, on April 21 through Little Sur Records. The band has shared the lead single from their second LP, entitled “Waiting On Love.” The new track was penned by The Gramblers guitarist Deren Ney.


“When I first heard Deren play ‘Waiting on Love,’ its cheerful cadence almost masked its darker content,” said Bluhm. “I love the juxtaposition of dark and light.” Ney said the song, “is about what happens to summer love once summer ends. It’s the nostalgia of keeping that spark alive when reality barges in. And it’s about 12-string guitar blaring out of a stereo.”


You can also stream an additional track from Loved Wild Lost –“High Neck Lace” –which was made available last month.
