Yesterday Gov’t Mule played their first set of the month at the Peach Music Festival at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA. Warren and Co. mixed songs from their soon-to-be-released Blue Note debut Shout! with classics from throughout their career.

The group brought out of trio of talented sax players -Bill Evans, Karl Denson and Ron Holloway -for a smoking version of “Devil Likes It Slow.” Also of note, Mule worked “Funny Little Tragedy” off Shout! into a show-closing take on repertoire staple “Thorazine Shuffle.”

Here’s the setlist from yesterday’s set:

Set: Steppin’ Lightly, Scared To Live, Beautifully Broken, Kind Of Bird, Captured, Devil Likes It Slow (with Ron Holloway, Bill Evans & Karl Denson), Hope She’ll Be Happier, I’m A Ram, Thorazine Shuffle > Funny Little Tragedy > Thorazine Shuffle Reprise
