Five years after the release of The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the Moon, the Flaming Lips are back with another Pink Floyd-related release. Flaming Side Of The Moon has been designed as a companion piece to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon and is meant to be played at the same time as the classic 1973 release.

When a press release went out announcing Flaming Side Of The Moon, it was easy to think the Lips were gearing up for an April Fool’s joke. That is until the band shared audio of the LP. Flaming Side Of The Moon is available through participating digital outlets. In addition, the Lips distributed a limited edition of 100 vinyl copies to their friends and family.
