Arcade Fire Welcomes Deborah Harry & Pres Hall At Coachella

Canadian rock act Arcade Fire headlined Sunday’s action at the first weekend of the Coachella Festival in Indio, CA. The group brought up one of their heroes, Blondie front woman Deborah Harry, for a two-song appearance and ended the 18-song set by performing “Wake Up” with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Win Butler and Co. focused on songs from Reflektor last night as they performed seven tracks off the album. Butler took a shot of the festival’s VIP section, telling the crowd that those who aren’t in the pricey section aren’t missing anything. Towards the end of the set, Regine Chassagne led Deborah Harry onstage and the pair shared a duet on the Blondie classic “Heart Of Glass.” Harry stuck around for the “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)” that followed. Arcade Fire, along with Pres Hall, took the show into the crowd for the show-closing “Wake Up.”
