For the past two nights Montreal mega-act Arcade Fire have previewed material from the soon-to-be-released Reflektor LP at the intimate Brooklyn art space 299 Meserole. Considering Arcade Fire is quite capable of selling out Madison Square Garden, it’s no wonder tickets to both shows sold out in seconds.

The members of Arcade Fire, who were performing under the name “The Reflektors,” pulled up to the venue for both shows in a limousine. James Murphy introduced the act, who pranked fans with a setup in which the the audience’s attention was focused on a smaller stage before a curtain fell across the room to reveal a large stage as Arcade Fire launched into Reflektor’s title track. On Friday night AF performed a total of 10 songs -eight tracks from the new album as well as older tunes “Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)” and “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains).” Saturday’s set contained 12 songs with the addition of Reflektor’s “Supersymmetry” and “Haiti” off of their debut album.

Friday Set: Reflektor, Flashbulb Eyes, We Exist, Normal Person, Joan of Arc, It’s Never Over (Oh Orpheus), Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains), Afterlife, Neighborhood #3 (Power Out), Here Comes The Night Time
