Canadian rockers Arcade Fire has announced the upcoming release of a new studio album and shared the title track. Everything Now, the band’s fifth studio album and first since 2013’s Reflektor, is due July 28 via Columbia Records. Arcade Fire will support the album with an extensive fall run through North America.
Today, Arcade Fire issued the title track through digital services after previously selling the track on vinyl to those at the Primavera Sound festival, where the group performs today. “Everything Now” was co-produced by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, Arcade Fire and Steve Mackey. Arcade Fire recorded the LP – which will be available on CD, cassette and vinyl – at Sonovox Studios in Montreal, Gang Recording Studio in Paris and Boombox Studios in New Orleans.
