Anderson East Shares ‘Hood Of My Car’ Single
The new single arrived along with a music video.

Anderson East released a new single, “Hood Of My Car.” The song is set to appear on the Nashville-based singer-songwriter’s forthcoming album, Maybe We Never Die, due out on August 20 through Elektra/Low Country Sound.
East announced Maybe We Never Die in April. The singer previewed the record with the singles “Madelyn” and “Drugs”

East now follows with “Hood Of My Car,” which he detailed in a statement:
We tried to make a song that felt nostalgic on a personal level. I reached for the feeling of being a teenager again – being in love for the first time, the nerves, awkwardness of not feeling comfortable in your own skin yet and having every ounce of the future seeming just a moment away from your fingertips. The possibilities that the night sky brings and that our own piece of the heavens isn’t that far out of reach.
