ALO Celebrates ‘Back To The Future’ Day In Nashville

By Scott Bernstein Oct 22, 2015 2:45 pm PDT

Last night, ALO brought the Tangle Of Time Tour to Exit/In in Nashville, where they were joined by a three-piece for a portion of the show. The Free Range Horns contributed to six songs including a cover played in celebration of Back To The Future Day.

For those unfamiliar, yesterday was the day Marty McFly traveled to in Back To The Future Part II to save his children. ALO marked the day by dusting off a cover of the Huey Lewis & The News hit “The Power Of Love” which was featured in the original Back To The Future flick. In addition to “The Power Of Love,” ALO was joined by the horns for “Man Of The World,” “Lady Loop,” “Try,” “The Ticket” and “Animal Liberation.” The band was also aided by Carly Meyers (trombone) and Adam Gertner (percussion) of ROAR for “Cowboys.”

Listen to “The Power Of Love” from last night thanks to Z-Man’s audience recording:
