Over the summer Rush concluded what just may be the trio’s final tour. The future of the band was a hot topic at SiriusXM’s recent Town Hall event with guitarist Alex Lifeson and bassist Geddy Lee.

From the sound of Lee and Lifeson’s response to filmmaker Michael Moore, who conducted the interview, it appears the ball is in drummer Neil Peart’s court. Geddy and Alex make it clear they are still up for hitting the road, but that it’s painful for Peart to leave his new family to go on tour. Neil is also a physical performer and playing Rush’s complex music on a nightly basis has taken a major toll on his now 63-year-old body.
