Radiohead held their first concert in public since 2018 on Tuesday at Movistar Arena in Madrid, Spain. The band fronted by Thom Yorke built the opening night setlist from across their catalog of albums, delivering an 18-song main set, followed by a seven-song encore.

Utilizing an in-the-round stage setup, Radiohead started the show with the recent TikTok viral hit, “Let Down.” The setlist continued with “2 + 2 = 5” and then Radiohead’s first performance of “Sit Down. Stand Up” since 2004. Later in the night, part of the encore included “Subterranean Homesick Alien,” which was last played by the band in 2017.

Also among the opening night song selections were “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi,” “Everything in Its Right Place,” “The National Anthem,” “Fake Plastic Trees” and “Paranoid Android.” The band’s first show in seven years, and first with second drummer Chris Vatalaro alongside Philip Selway, ended with “Karma Police.”

Radiohead plays three more shows at Madrid’s Movistar Arena. Additional four-night runs follow in Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin.
