The Rolling Stones’ 50 and Counting World Tour continues tomorrow night with the second of two shows at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The band has just revealed via their official app that singer Aaron Neville will be the special guest at Friday evening’s show.
Neville and The Stones have a long history together as The Neville Brothers opened for The Rolling Stones in the ’80s. Furthermore, Neville’s son Ivan was a member of Keith Richards’ X-pensive Winos project. More recently, Keith Richards co-produced Aaron Neville’s latest album – My True Story – with Don Was. In addition to his producing credit, Richards also plays guitar on My True Story.
You can be assured that tour guest Mick Taylor will also perform with his old band mates tomorrow night as he has each show this tour.
