Mike Mills, Robert McDuffie & Chuck Leavell Announce ‘A Night Of Georgia Music’ Tour

R.E.M.’s Mike Mills, The Rolling Stones‘ Chuck Leavell and violinist Robert McDuffie will team up for the “A Night Of Georgia Music” tour this fall. Each concert will feature music from such famed Georgian musical acts as The Allman Brothers Band, James Brown, Outkast, R.E.M. and Ray Charles along with an orchestral concertro penned by Mike Mills.

The tour begins at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. on September 26. From there, “A Night Of Georgia Music” performances will be held in Asheville, Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, Savannah and Augusta. Each night will start with a set of songs about Georgia or from Georgian musicians. Then, Mills and McDuffie will perform the “Concert For Violin, Rock Band & String Orchestra” before a special encore.
