49 Winchester confirmed a new album, Change Of Plans, arriving on May 15 through Lucille Records / MCA. The country outfit heralded the record with the single, “Pardon Me.”
Renowned producer Dave Cobb helmed 49 Winchester’s new album. The band — frontman Isaac Gibson, guitarist Bus Shelton, bassist Chase Chafin, pedal steel player Noah Patrick, keyboardist Tim Hall and drummer Justin Louthian — decamped to Cobb’s Savannah, Georgia studio to cut Change Of Plans.
49 Winchester previously shared a cover of Black Sabbath‘s “Changes,” which they included on Change Of Plans. The latest preview is “Pardon Me,” which press materials described as “leaning into emotional honesty and lived-in storytelling, balancing rugged instrumentation with a sense of vulnerability and growth.”
