Greensky Bluegrass, Umphrey’s McGee & More Headed To West Virginia For 2023 4848 Festival

The 4848 Festival boasts a jam-heavy 2023 lineup headlined by Greensky Bluegrass (two nights) and Umphrey’s McGee. The fourth installment of the event returns to Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, West Virginia July 13 – 15.

moe., Cory Wong, Sierra Ferrell, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, North Mississippi Allstars and Kitchen Dwellers are also slated to perform at 4848 in July. Other acts aboard for the event include Doom Flamingo, Neal Francis, Cabinet, Holly Bowling and more.

Nestled within the Appalachian Mountain Range, Snowshoe lies on 11,000 acres and features the second highest point in West Virginia at 4,848-feet, hence the name of the festival. All told, the event produced by All Good Presents will present over 30 hours of live music. Ticket purchases come with Snowshoe’s “Fun Pass,” giving festivalgoers the chance to enjoy such experiences as scenic lift rides, Split Rock Pools, euro bungee, a climbing wall as well as access to Shavers Lake for activities including swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking.

Various GA & VIP packages will be available along with numerous lodging options including studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom experiences starting this Friday, January 20 at 10 a.m. ET. Attendees can also camp in tents or RVs at the base of the mountain with the purchase of camping tickets and RV packages. Complimentary shuttles and ski lift rides will shuttle festivalgoers to the Mountain Village and festival grounds.
