Lucius Ladies Guest With My Morning Jacket In Raleigh

Last night My Morning Jacket brought The Waterfall Tour to Red Hat Amphitheatre in Raleigh, where they were joined by opener Lucius. The frontwomen of Lucius sat-in at various points during MMJ’s set in Raleigh.

Lucius vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig emerged early on for “I’m Amazed” and “Golden.” The pair returned much later in the show to back MMJ for “Holdin’ On To Black Metal.” My Morning Jacket’s set also included just the third live version of Waterfall track “Hillside Song” as well as rarities “Strangulation!,” “Cobra” and “They Ran.”

The two bands perform at Uptown Amphitheatre in Charlotte tonight.
