Day two of the 2015 installment of Camp Bisco was held yesterday at its new home of Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The headlining set from hosts the Disco Biscuits included several guests as well as the debut of their cover of Hall & Oates’ “She’s Gone” and Pink Floyd’s “Us and Them.”

Bisco’s Friday night set began with a rare cover of Walter Murphy’s “Fifth of Beethoven” which slid into an inverted performance of “House Dog Party Favor” > “Lunar Pursuit.” It was at this point that the first guest of the night joined the band, as Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter Mutlu sang and played guitar on tDB’s debut cover of Hall & Oates’ “She’s Gone.” Mutlu came well versed in the tune having performed a number of times with fellow Philly-natives Hall & Oates as well as having made the most appearances on Hall’s show Live From Daryl’s House. The Biscuits then closed their first set with their original “Morph Dusseldorf.”
More covers -Grateful Dead’s “Help On The Way” > “Slipknot!” -opened the band’s second set, with the second guest of the night, Tom Hamilton, sitting-in. Hamilton also stuck around to augment the inverted “Confrontation” that followed “Help/Slip.” Later in the set Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic emerged to add saxophone to the Disco Biscuits’ debut cover of Pink Floyd’s “Us and Them.” The set and show then closed with the Bisco original, “Helicopters.”
