Omega Moos Play For First Time In Two Years

80s cover band Omega Moos returned to the stage for the first time since 2013 last night for a Major Rager after party at Sky City in Augusta, Georgia. The tribute act features Brendan Bayliss, Ryan Stasik and Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee along with theNEWDEAL’s Jamie Shields on keyboards.

Omega Moos played one long set in Augusta on Friday night. The quartet’s batch of ’80s covers included takes on Phil Collins & Philip Bailey’s “Easy Lover,” Corey Hart’s “Sunglasses At Night,” Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me With Science,” The Police’s “Masoko Tanga,” Foreigner’s “Double Vision” and Hall & Oates’ “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do).” The band brought the evening to a close with an encore of “Girls On Film” (Duran Duran) and “Rebel Yell” (Billy Idol).

Brendan, Kris, Jamie and Ryan bring Omega Moos to Saint Augustine, Florida tonight.
