WinterWonderGrass Steamboat 2027 Lineup: String Cheese Incident, Trampled By Turtles & More

The String Cheese Incident will make its WinterWonderGrass debut when WinterWonderGrass Steamboat returns to Steamboat Springs, Colorado March 5 – 7, 2027. Trampled by Turtles and Kitchen Dwellers round out the headliners for the festival’s 10th year in the mountain town.

The String Cheese Incident’s appearance marks the band’s first visit to Steamboat since 2002. WinterWonderGrass began in Edwards, Colorado in 2013 before relocating to Avon the following year. Organizers moved the festival to Steamboat in 2017.

The 2027 lineup also includes Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Hayes Carll, The Jerry Douglas Band, Magoo, BoomBox, Shadowgrass, The Brothers Comatose and Bronwyn (Keith-Hynes).

Pickin’ On The Dead featuring Rob Eaton, WinterWonderWomen and Johnny Mullenax are also aboard, along with more acts. Lindsay Lou will serve as an artist at large throughout the weekend.

“Ten years of WinterWonderGrass in Steamboat feel like they’ve gone by in a blink,” founder Scotty Stoughton stated. “We’re grateful for the spirit of Steamboat and remain committed to honoring the community that has made this journey possible.”

A free, all-ages lineup announcement celebration takes place at Snow Bowl in Steamboat tomorrow (Wednesday, October 7) from 4 – 8 p.m. MT. The event features members of Heads All Empty and special guests.
