The 25th annual installment of High Sierra Music Festival will take place between July 2 -5 at Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy, California. This afternoon, High Sierra organizers have revealed the initial lineup for 2015.

The String Cheese Incident, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Galactic are a top the lineup announced today. Shovels & Rope, The Wood Brothers, ALO, Nahko & Medicine For The People, The California Honeydrops and The Barr Brothers are also among the many acts aboard for this year’s festival. SCI will play a total of four sets over two nights for their first High Sierra appearance since 1999.

We’re excited to see that High Sierra staples The Slip will be back in Quincy this year as will Surprise Me Mr. Davis, a band that features The Slip with Marco Benevento and Nathan Moore. In fact, as it currently stands, The Slip’s performance at High Sierra will be the group’s first since they played the festival in 2012. Look for additional acts to be announced soon.
