Foo Fighters Book Week-Long Visit To Letterman

The Late Show host Dave Letterman has never hidden his love for Foo Fighters, so we can imagine he’s overjoyed the band will perform on each and every show next week. The Foos will be joined by as-of-yet unannounced guests for their musical performances on next week’s episodes of The Late Show.

Dave Grohl and Co.’s residency comes in support of their new album, Sonic Highways, which is due on November 20. The Foos visited different cities and enlisted different guests to record the eight tracks on Sonic Highways and the process of completing the album will be profiled on an HBO series by the same name. A press release announcing the residency says the Foos will play “songs that inspired the creation” of Sonic Highways.

In addition to the musical performances each night next week, Grohl will sit for an interview with David Letterman on Monday, October 13.
