Bridge School 2014 | Pearl Jam, Neil Young & More

Each year Neil and Pegi Young recruit a bevy of their musical friends to perform, usually unplugged, at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA to raise funds for The Bridge School. The school helps physically challenged children overcome their impairments via the use of technology. Today, the lineup for this year’s benefit concerts, which take place October 25 and 26, has been revealed.

Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Florence + The Machine, Tom Jones, Soundgarden, Norah Jones and Puss N Boots, Band of Horses and Pegi Young & The Survivors are all aboard for this year’s Bridge School benefits. There’s also word of “special guests” in today’s announcement. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 19 at 10 a.m. PT.

Pearl Jam has appeared at a handful of past Bridge School benefits, with their last appearance taking place in 2010. We’re happy to see BOTH Neil and Pegi on the lineup, despite the end of their 36-year marriage. Head here for an in-depth look at past Bridge School benefit concerts.
