Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Shares First Lineup Medley

Each year Hardly Strictly Bluegrass organizers share medleys featuring music from some of the acts set to play the long-running music festival as a preview of the full lineup announcement. The first HSB Song Medley of 2014 has just been posted on a fitting occasion, founder Warren Hellman’s birthday. Take a listen to the medley to see if you can pick out the first 10 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass ’14 artists:

Every week for the next three weeks, HSB organizers will share another medley featuring 10 acts set to play this year’s festival a piece. The release of the fourth medley will be followed by a complete lineup announcement.

The 2014 installment of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass will take place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park October 3 -5. Hellman, who passed away in 2011, founded and funded Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. It was first held in 2001 and has returned each year to Golden Gate Park.
