While Jam Cruise 22 has set sail, performers The Disco Biscuits delivered a pre-party show at the Miami Bandshell on Friday. The concert in Miami Beach, Florida saw the quartet welcoming Matisyahu to kick off the encore.
Bisco initiated the show with a monster “Save The Robots,” which stretched past the 27 minute mark. The band then delivered “Humuhumunukunukuapua’a” for the first time in over a year. From there, tDB went seamless for “The Bells,” “Tourists (Rocket Ship),” “Better In Doses” and “Sound One” to conclude the first set.
Set two got underway with a substantial “Vassillios.” The band then fit “Spacebirdmatingcall,” “The Deal” and “Show Me Love” within “Munchkin Invasion” to round out the frame. The Disco Biscuits then welcomed Matisyahu to lead one of his most-recognizable songs, “One Day,” to kick off the encore.
The singer-songwriter originally released the song in 2008 and it landed on his 2009 album, Light. Following the Matis sit-in, The Disco Biscuits finished up “Spacebirdmatingcall” to seal the show.
