The Barr Brothers prepared to embark on their 2026 North American Let It Hiss Tour this week by appearing on CBS Mornings for a “Saturday Sessions” performance. The tour takes its name from their 2025 album, Let It Hiss, which was the source for the songs played by siblings Andrew Barr and Brad Barr.
Let It Hiss was The Barr Brothers’ first album since 2017’s Queens Of The Breakers. Andrew and Brad — who are two-thirds of The Slip — self-produced the album, which they recorded mainly as a duo at their Montreal studio.
Their “Saturday Sessions” appearance saw Andrew on drums and Brad on keyboards for “Naturally.” Brad then played electric guitar on “Run Right Into It.” Bassist Todd Dahlhoff accompanied the brothers.
Andrew emerged from behind the drum kit for “Another Tangerine” to assist Brad, who played an acoustic guitar while demonstrating a string-bowing technique learned from seeing Romani violinist Nicolae Neacșu in a documentary film many years ago.
The Barr Brothers Let It Hiss Tour begin in Ottawa on Wednesday, February 11. Scroll on for videos of their “Saturday Sessions” performance and list of upcoming tour dates.
