Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves & 38 More Acts Set For Under The Big Sky 2027

Under The Big Sky will bring 40 acts to Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, Montana on July 16 – 18, 2027. Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves and Nathaniel Rateliff headline the festival’s eighth edition.

Musgraves will make her Under The Big Sky debut, while Bryan returns for his third appearance. Rateliff is back for the first time since headlining the inaugural festival in 2019.

Brandon Flowers is also making his first Under The Big Sky appearance. The Killers frontman will perform material from his country-focused solo album, Thrasher. Fellow festival newcomers include The Wallflowers, Dawes and The Devil Makes Three.

The bill also features returning performers Sam Barber, Midland, Buffalo Traffic Jam, Paul Cauthen and The Dead South. The Infamous Stringdusters, Futurebirds, Big Richard, The White Buffalo, Allah-Las, Jess Williamson and Hogslop String Band are among the additional acts headed to the ranch.

Montana musicians will again be represented throughout the weekend, including Bozeman’s Buffalo Traffic Jam. Badger Hound, Chloe Gendrow, Sterling Drake and Tomara are also part of the festival’s local contingent.

Beyond the music, the working cattle ranch will host rodeo competitions, horseback rides, a tattoo barn and a petting zoo. Local food, drinks and merchandise will be available in the vendor village.
