Watch Brad Barr ‘Let It Hiss’ With Stuart Bogie & Shahzad Ismaily For WNYC
The three-song set pulled from The Barr Brothers’ new album, Let It Hiss.

Guitarist Brad Barr played songs from the newly released The Barr Brothers album, Let It Hiss, for WNYC. The three-song session featured Barr accompanied by saxophonist Stuart Bogie and multi-instrumentalist/producer Shahzad Ismaily on bass.
Bogie contributed to Let It Hiss, which was recorded by Brad Barr and his brother, drummer Andrew Barr. The Barr Brothers, who are two-thirds of The Slip, had not released an album since 2017’s Queens Of The Breakers.
The session for WYNC, which included an interview with John Schaefer between songs, showcased live takes on the Let It Hiss tracks, “Naturally” (with Barr on piano), “Another Tangerine” and “Run Right Into It.”
