Following a return to Philips Arena in Atlanta for last year’s New Year’s show, Widespread Panic have just announced they are bringing NYE back to Charlotte at the end of this year. Atlanta’s Philips Arena hosted the band’s NYE shows for a long run through 2009. Then, in 2010, Panic brought their festivities to Denver. Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena was the site of the group’s New Year’s shows in 2011 and 2012 and will once again host Widespread Panic on December 31, 2014.
