SiriusXM | Jam ON New Year’s Run And NYE Concert Broadcasts

There’s big news from our friends at SiriusXM this morning as the company revealed its plans to broadcast a number of New Year’s Eve concerts, while the Jam ON channel has announced details of its “New Year’s Run” programming.

SiriusXM listeners will be able to tune in to broadcasts of many New Year’s Eve concerts including Willie Nelson from Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, TX (Willie’s Roadhouse, channel 56); Gregg Allman at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, FL (Deep Tracks, channel 27); Widespread Panic at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA (Jam_On, channel 29) and the Flaming Lips from Belly Up in Aspen in Aspen, CO (Jam_On, channel 29).

In addition to the Panic and Lips broadcasts, Jam ON has many treats in store for the next week-plus. Two new episodes of Eric Krasno’s Feel Good Radio will be aired before New Year’s hits, Umphrey’s lighting director Jefferson Waful will stop by to guest DJ, Relix co-editor Dean Budnick will present a H.O.R.D.E. tour special and Marc Brownstein of the Disco Biscuits will host a Holidaze Edition of Jamtronica. Jam ON will also broadcast new album specials featuring Kung Fu and Railroad Earth. Finally, The Disco Biscuits will visit the channel’s studios, while members of Widespread Panic will guest DJ on New Year’s Eve.
