Marco Benevento Guests With moe. At Higher Ground

Jam stalwarts moe. kicked off a two-night stand at Higher Ground in South Burlington, VT last night. Keyboardist Marco Benevento was moe.’s special guest at the first night and is expected to sit in with them again tonight.

Benevento emerged at the end of the first set for takes on moe. originals “Opium” and “Happy Hour Hero” as well as his own “Real Morning Party.” The Beneventmoe. action continued in Set Two, when Marco added his talents to covers of “Karma Police” by Radiohead” and Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” as well as moe. originals “Four,” “Shoot First” and “Moth.” Benevento and moe. ended the evening with a “Plane Crash” encore.
