Ziggy Marley honored his father Bob Marley as part of the yearlong celebration of Bob’s 75th birthday. Ziggy delivered a livestream concert of Bob Marley songs from CEEK VR Studio in Miami.

Marley and his masked, socially distanced band kicked off the set with “Roots, Rock, Reggae” from Bob Marley And The Wailers’ 1976 album, Rastaman Vibration. The set also included the title track to that album along with classics like “War/No More Trouble,” “Get Up, Stand Up,” “Coming In From The Cold” and a lively “Exodus.”

Additionally, Ziggy offered up a full band version of “Redemption Song.” Although Bob recorded a full band cut, the most famous iteration is his solo acoustic rendition from 1980’s Uprising, released shortly before his death. The stellar people power anthem “Small Axe” would follow ahead of the set closer, “Them Belly Full (But We Hungry).”
