Yonder Mountain String Band Shares ‘Ziggy Stardust’ Cover

Tributes to David Bowie have continuously grown since news of his unexpected death was announced this week. Joining those taking the musical approach to honoring the legendary artists, Yonder Mountain String Band has shared a cover performance of a Bowie classic to stream or download for free.

The quintet posted a soundboard recording of their bluegrass take on “Ziggy Stardust” from Bowie’s renowned album The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, which they played to close out the first set of their recent New Year’s Eve show at the Boulder Theater.
