On last night’s episode of Conan host Conan O’Brien took a moment to honor legendary musician David Bowie who died at age 69 on Sunday. Bowie had a been a guest several times on Conan-hosted Late Night on NBC over the years and during last night’s show the host paused to replay many of the appearances.
Introducing the montage, O’Brien said Bowie was “always outstanding” whenever he appeared on Late Night, going on to add “People are remembering today what a phenomenal musician David Bowie was, and of course that was the case. He was just mind-blowingly talented. But in my experience he was also an incredibly nice person, he was fun and he was always funny.
