moe. Honors David Bowie At Tropical Throe.down

Last night moe. held the second night of Tropical Throe.down at Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay Jamaica. During a guest-highlighted show, the band paid musical tribute to David Bowie with a cover of one of his most well-known songs they debuted last Halloween.

To close out the first set that saw Little Feat keyboardist Bill Payne sit-in on a number of songs, moe. went it alone on their second cover performance of “Ziggy Stardust” from Bowie’s famed 1972 LP The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars. After the jammed-out second set, moe. treated those on the island to a bust-out encore performance of “Cissy Strut” by The Meters, last played November 8, 2014 at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles.
