NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert counts Muppets from Sesame Street, larger-than-life monster rockers Gwar and a fictitious band from a Broadway play, among its many eclectic sessions. The live performance series added a concert featuring the children’s television program Yo Gabba GabbaLand!.

Led by vocalist Kammy Kam, the Yo Gabba GabbaLand! crew featured characters from the show (Plex, Toodee, Foofa, Brobee and Muno) dancing along with the live band. Musicians supporting the effort included Aaron Watene on guitar/percussion, Ricky Falomir on drums, Matt Gorney on bass and Jarond Gibbs on guitar.

The set began with “Yo Gabba GabbaLand!,” “Hold Still” and “I’m So Mad (Just Breathe).” Bassist Thundercat then dropped in on the Tiny Desk Concert dressed in the orange cat costume he wore on the Yo Gabba GabbaLand! episode that premiered earlier this year.

Thundercat helped play the song “The Orange Cat’s Special Time Outdoors,” which appeared in his episode and on the all-star soundtrack to the series that is a re-launch of the original series Yo Gabba Gabba! that spanned 2007 to 2015.

Thundercat stuck around to close out the mini-concert with “Party in My Tummy.” Watch the full Yo Gabba GabbaLand! session at NPR below:
