‘Sesame Street’ Characters Perform ‘Tiny Desk Concert’

The Muppets from Sesame Street perform in the latest installment in NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series. Big Bird, Bert & Ernie, Cookie Monster and others played classic songs from the children’s television program celebrating its 50th year.
Other The Muppets who were part of the Tiny Desk Concert set were Elmo, Grover, Rosita and Abby Cadabby. Fellow Sesame Street residents The Count, Penguin, Herry Monster and more were also on hand. The performance of “People In Your Neighborhood” featured a cameo by NPR’s Bob Boilen, whose desk is used for the mini concerts.
