GWAR recently took over NPR Studios to make their Tiny Desk Concert debut four years in the making. The intergalactic monster metal lords performed songs from their 2017 album, The Blood Of The Gods, and more.

GWAR — Blöthar the Berserker, Balsac the Jaws of Death, Pustulus Maximus, Beefcake the Mighty and Jizmak Da Gusha — kicked off their Tiny Desk with “Sex Cow,” which appears on the band’s 1997 album Carnival of Chaos. “I’ll Be Your Monster” from The Blood Of Gods came next.

GWAR then turned to material from their latest studio album, 2022’s The New Dark Ages, with “Ratcatcher.” The “Scumdogs of the Universe” concluded their Tiny Desk debut with The Blood Of Gods’ “Phantom Limb.”
