Willie Nelson canceled his performance at New Orleans Jazz Fest due to a positive COVID-19 case in the Willie Nelson Family Band. Nelson was scheduled to perform at Jazz Fest on Sunday, May 8.

    George Porter Jr. canceled his remaining New Orleans Jazz Fest appearances due to COVID-19.

Nelson also postponed concerts on Friday, May 6 in Franklin, Tennessee and on Saturday, May 7 in Brandon, Mississippi. The Franklin show was rescheduled to June 17 and the Brandon show was postponed to June 19. Both of those concerts will feature the original lineup of Willie Nelson and Family, Charley Crockett and Drayton Farley.

Willie Nelson, who turned 89 years old last month, is expected to return to touring on May 27.
