Pixies Bringing 40th Anniversary Celebration To U.S. In September 2026

The influential rock band will perform six headline shows and appear at two festivals over two weeks in September.

Pixies announced a series of seven new U.S. dates in September 2026 as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour. The influential rock band will mix headline dates with festival plays from September 15 – 26.

The run begins on September 15 in Greenville (South Carolina) and September 16 in Wilmington (North Carolina) before the band appears at the Borderland festival near Buffalo on September 18 and at the Sea Hear Now festival in Asbury Park (New Jersey) on September 19.

Pixies — frontman Charles “Black Francis” Thompson, guitarist Joey Santiago, drummer David Lovering and bassist Emma Richardson — continue the tour in the Midwest with shows in Louisville (Kentucky) on September 22 and Columbia (Missouri) on September 23. The Massachusetts-birthed band then heads west for stops in Santa Fe (New Mexico) on September 25 and Tucson (Arizona) on September 26 to end the excursion.
