Jeff Tweedy selected over 50 songs that made a huge impact on him to detail in WORLD WITHIN A SONG: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music. The tome finds the Grammy-winning musician and New York Times bestselling author profiling tunes by The Velvet Underground, Billie Eilish, The Replacements, Dolly Parton, Mavis Staples, Joni Mitchell and more. Tweedy’s third book follows his 2018 memoir Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back) and 2020 songwriting guide How To Write One Song.
The Belleville, Illinois native will answer such questions as, “What makes us fall in love with a song? What makes us want to write our own songs? Do songs help? Do songs help us live better lives? And do the lives we live help us write better songs?”
Pre-order WORLD WITHIN A SONG: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music through Amazon in Kindle, Audiobook and Hardcover formats.
