Wilco has issued “All Lives, You Say?,” a new single currently available to download or stream. The band will donate proceeds from the new song to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The donations to the SPLC are being made in memory of Robert L. Tweedy, the late father of the band’s frontman Jeff Tweedy. The elder Tweedy passed away earlier this year and the younger Tweedy issued the following statement with the new single:

My dad was named after a Civil War general, and he voted for Barack Obama twice. He used to say “If you know better, you can do better.” America – we know better. We can do better.
