Wilco Appears On ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

Last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert featured Wilco as musical guests. The band performed a song from their recently issued 10th studio album Schmilco and participated in a pair of bonus clips.

After being introduced by the host and a Wilco t-shirt-wearing Ethan Hawke – who was also a guest on the show – the group offered a take on the Schmilco track “Someone To Lose.” Frontman Jeff Tweedy also “jammed” with Stephen Colbert – the former on acoustic guitar, the latter on didgeridoo – in a bonus clip. Tweedy can also be seen in a skit in which he defends the titles of Wilco albums.
