Last week, Widespread Panic unveiled the latest installment of their Porch Songs series of live archival releases. Panic opened the vault to unearth Porch Songs: Detroit 1996 containing an official, two-track recording of the group’s June 19, 1996 performance at Detroit’s State Theatre. The band has added streaming audio of “You Got Yours” from Porch Songs: Detroit 1996 to their YouTube channel.

“You Got Yours” was debuted by Widespread Panic on September 16, 1995 in Salem, Virginia. Guitarists John Bell and Michael Houser, bassist Dave Schools, drummer Todd Nance, keyboardist JoJo Hermann and percussionist Domingo “Sunny” Ortiz would go on to record a studio version of the “You Got Yours” just one month after the show featured on Porch Songs: Detroit 1996 that would be released on 1997’s Bombs & Butterflies. “Gradle,” “Hope In A Hopeless World” and “Greta” were other songs that made Bombs & Butterflies played in Detroit on June 19, 1996.
