Widespread Panic picked their April 19, 2002 concert at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh, North Carolina for the next installment in their ‘Never Miss A Sunday Show” archival video series powered by nugs.net. The show will air on Sunday, August 23 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT via nugs.tv.
The show selection continues Panic’s August picks of concerts between 1994 and 2002 from significant venues in the band’s history as well as shows that honor late co-founding guitarist Michael Houser. The April 19 Walnut Creek show kicked off Panic’s 2002 spring run, which would be the last tour Houser would complete with the band. The webcast takes on even more poignancy as it features Widespread Panic founding drummer Todd Nance, who tragically died this past week. The show also sees sit-ins from longtime WSP collaborator and producer John Keane on guitar.
