Last week, RCRDLBL gave you your first sampling of White Sea with the gorgeously haunting “Mountaineer,” a track they described as “racked with vocal crescendos and homecoming drums-a breathy beauty.” Now, Urban Outfitters, which selectively curates its new musical discoveries, has handpicked White Sea and is offering the five- song debut EP, This Frontier, for exclusive free download all week.
The solo project of M83‘s Morgan Kibby, White Sea’s innagural EP was conceived, recorded and produced nearly entirely by herself after a nearly three-year stint of writing, recording and performing on stage with M83.
