Tedeschi Trucks Band's Future Soul 2026 Tour brought Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi back to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a pair of shows on Friday and Saturday. The concerts at the scenic Colorado venue featured members of The Black Crowes sitting in on night one and support act Lukas Nelson sharing the stage with TTB on night two.

In the region for a pair of Colorado shows with The Black Crowes, frontman Chris Robinson took the Red Rocks stage for the final song of TTB’s main set on Friday, bringing along his current bandmate, guitarist Nico Bereciartua for the Joe Cocker-popularized “Space Captain.”

Robinson and Bereciartua returned for the encore, bringing along fellow Black Crowes members, keyboardist Erik Deutsch and vocalists Mackenzie Adams and Lesley Grant. Friday’s collaborative finale featured The Rolling Stones’ “Loving Cup” segueing into a pairing of “Leavin’ Trunk” into “Volunteered Slavery.”

TTB’s main set also featured “Circles ‘Round The Sun” into “Pasaquan,” which carried elements of The Allman Brothers Band’s “Mountain Jam” before the song was left unfinished and the band moved into a drums interlude.

Tedeschi Trucks Band picked up the “Mountain Jam” tease the following night, August 1, working into the song out of “Shame” before completing the “Pasaquan” started the night prior. The second show also saw TTB’s typical pairing of John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery” with the Grateful Dead’s “Sugaree,” the latter falling on what would have been Jerry Garcia’s 84th birthday.

Saturday’s encore kicked off with Tedeschi leading a take on “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” Nelson then came back onstage for Derek & The Dominos’ “Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad?” and Joe Tex’s “Show Me.”
