Olivia Rodrigo Joins The Smashing Pumpkins At Lollapalooza

The Smashing Pumpkins performed at Lollapalooza 2026 on the Bud Light Stage at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois on Friday. The band’s hometown set featured three guest appearances, including Olivia Rodrigo, YUNGBLUD and Melissa Auf der Maur.

YUNGBLUD joined the band for “Luna.” Later in the set, Olivia Rodrigo came out for “Thirty-Three,” with Billy Corgan on acoustic guitar while Rodrigo handled vocals. Auf der Maur, who toured with the band in 2000, the same year Smashing Pumpkins released Machina/The Machines of God, joined for the set closer, “The Everlasting Gaze,” a track from that album.

The career spanning set opened with “1979” and also included “Bullet With Butterfly Wings,” “Disarm,” “Porcelina of the Vast Oceans,” “Jellybelly,” “Tonight, Tonight,” “Pentagrams,” “Ava Adore,” “War Dreams of Itself,” “Mayonaise,” “Cherub Rock” and “Zero.”
