When Harry Met Trey | Anastasio Visits With Styles Of One Direction

Phish front man Trey Anastasio has never hidden his love of pop music and his fascination with the form. Hot on the heels of his long-running bromance with Justin Bieber, Anastasio attended last night’s One Direction concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Big Red even had an opportunity to meet Harry Styles of the English-Irish pop boy band on Monday:

Styles told Trey he was familiar with Phish, as the One Direction singer went on and on about the “Tahoe Tweezer.” Okay, that didn’t happen but Styles did know of Phish’s music, so we await an Instagram clip of Harry strumming one of the Vermonters’ songs ala the Biebs.
