Watch Paul Simon Play New Song ‘The Werewolf’ Live In Concert

Last night, Paul Simon continued his first North American Tour since 2011 at BJCC Concert Hall in Birmingham, Alabama. Four gigs into the tour we now have a feel for the setlist Simon and his band will employ from night to night as he usually only varies what he plays by a song or two over the course of a run. So far just two songs from Paul’s new album Stranger To Stranger have been performed including its opening track “The Werewolf.”
Paul promised Stranger To Stranger would be an unusual album and from the tracks we’ve heard thus far he wasn’t joking. “The Werewolf” finds nearly every member of Simon’s large and talented backing band either clapping along or playing percussive instruments. There’s also plenty of sound effects thrown in for good measure as well as didgeridoo. Watch the first fan-shot video of “The Werewolf” to surface on YouTube thanks to Josh Daniel:
