The War On Drugs, Robin Pecknold, Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby will be among those contributing self-recorded performances to Vote Ready, a free livestreamed concert for voter registration put together by HeadCount, Fort William Artist Management and Live From Out There. Vote Ready will air on Friday, August 14 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

Grizzly Bear’s Daniel Rossen and Christopher Bear, Kyp Malone and Jaleel Bunton of TV On The Radio, Tank & The Bangas’ Tarriona “Tank” Ball and Hand Habits are more of the artists taking part in Vote Ready. Fans can receive a free eTicket to watch the stream by checking their voter registration status via HeadCount.org/VoteReady any time before 6 p.m. ET on August 13.

Those who haven’t registered to vote can use an online form provided by HeadCount to do so. Underage and international viewers must pledge to vote in the next election for which they are eligible to get an eTicket. “This is a first of its kind event,” said Andy Bernstein, executive director of HeadCount, in a statement. “We love the idea of serving up original performances to anyone who checks their voter registration status. We applaud the artists and Fort William Management for their leadership, and we hope it inspires many more similar events in the future.”
