Neil Young and Promise Of The Real continued the Rebel Content Tour last night at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York -marking the legendary guitarist’s return to the waterfront venue for the first time in nearly a decade. Young and his band, which features Lukas and Micah Nelson stuck to a similar script as most tour stops with a few notable exceptions.

Neil started the show as he has each show this tour -with a brief solo acoustic run of songs. Then Promise Of The Real came out for the rest of the evening. The changes from the tour’s typical setlist included the Rebel Content Tour’s third “Winterlong” and second “Lookin’ For A Love” as well as the tour’s second “Cortez The Killer.” “Cortez” served as the encore in Wantagh and saw the band jam on the tune for over 15 minutes. The Rebel Content Tour continues tonight in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
